  1. Hi,
I have been looking everywhere for the past few months for help. I know by now that the Orange County MediCal system does not cover the help that I need. They do not provide intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs or residential programs for trauma and mental health that would be beneficial to me. I have tried 211, and they did not have anything for me either. I am stuck. I do not have the money for private pay options. I am only 19 years old, and my parents aren’t willing to pay for it. I really, really need help. I can’t do the work that I need to do in outpatient therapy alone. I need more support than that. I am stuck at home right now in a toxic environment with no support, and I can’t move on in life.
Can you please please help me? Do you know of any organizations that pay for people’s treatment? Do you know of any treatment centers that give scholarships? I am so desperate for help. I will drown so far if I am home right now for the summer without an IOP, or if I am not in a residential mental health facility that does intense trauma processing.
    Thank you.

  2. I do not know how to get this done in California without res0urces to pay privately. I suggest you call Shelly Skaggs at Benchmark and see if she can give you useful guidance. Her program is excellent but I don’t think they can take you on without private payment. But if there is an accessible program, without private payment, serving Orange County I’m sure she will know about it. See
