Mental Health and Mass Shootings — Introduction

Our main page on the topic of attempting to stop mass shootings by improving mental health services is available to all  with no membership/ subscription requirement. Generally, our main page on topics we write about is available only to paid members/ subscribers.  At least for the present and probably for a very long time, the main page on this topic will be open to the general public. Membership not required. Our usual practice is to provide publicly accessible "introduction" page with each "member/ subscriber only" page help non-members determine if a membership would be of value to access the restricted page.

We have long believed that the clamor from gun rights activists that mass shootings can be curtailed by improving mental health services is a distraction and a red herring.  This main page article tells you why.
